شراكة إستراتيجية عاشرة للجهاز تُجسِّد التوسّع العالمي للاستثمارات العُمانية

استمرارًا لمساعيه نحو التوسّع في الشراكات الإستراتيجية مع الدول الشقيقة والصديقة بما يعزز مكانة سلطنة عُمان كشريك استثماري موثوق، ويُسهم في جذب الاستثمارات والتقنيات الحديثة إلى القطاعات المحلية؛ وقّع جهاز الاستثمار العُماني شراكة إستراتيجية جديدة مع شركة أذربيجان للاستثمار القابضة، الذراع المعنية بإدارة وتطوير المؤسسات والاستثمارات المملوكة لجمهورية أذربيجان، بما يشكّل فرصة مهمة لتوسيع آفاق التعاون الاقتصادي بين البلدين الصديقين، وذلك على هامش زيارة وفد أذربيجاني رفيع المستوى لسلطنة عمان ترأسه وزير الاقتصاد الأذربيجاني وضم مجموعة من المسؤولين ورجال الأعمال.

وتنص الشراكة على إنشاء صندوق استثماري مشترك بقيمة 77 مليون ريال عماني مناصفةً بين البلدين؛ بما يعكس التزامًا متوازنًا لبناء شراكات طويلة الأمد بينهما، حيث يستهدف الصندوق الاستثمار في قطاعات متنوعة تشمل الصناعات الغذائية، والقطاع الصناعي، والطاقة المتجددة، واللوجستيات، والرعاية الصحية، إلى جانب قطاع الاستهلاك. كما يهدف الصندوق إلى إطلاق مشروعات ذات أثر تنموي في البلدين تسهم في تنويع مصادر الدخل وتعزيز القيمة المحلية المضافة، بما ينسجم مع مستهدفات رؤية عُمان 2040 الرامية إلى تحقيق اقتصاد متنوع ومستدام.

وقال معالي عبدالسّلام بن محمد المرشدي رئيس جهاز الاستثمار العُماني "تُجسِّد الشراكة الإستراتيجية الجديدة مع جمهورية أذربيجان توجه الجهاز نحو التوسّع في شبكة استثماراته الخارجية، من خلال عقد شراكات نوعية تحمل قيمة مضافة وتدعم مستهدفات التنويع الاقتصادي لسلطنة عُمان، وتوفر فرصة لنقل التقنيات الحديثة إلى القطاعات المحلية. كما أن هذه الشراكة تعكس الثقة المتنامية بدور سلطنة عُمان كشريك موثوق في الاستثمارات، ومن خلالها سنواصل العمل على استكشاف فرص واعدة مع شركاء دوليين لتعزيز الأثر التنموي لاستثماراتنا وتحقيق قيمة مضافة للاقتصاد الوطني".

من جانبه، قال رسلان أليخانوف، الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة أذربيجان للاستثمار القابضة: "يُجسّد إنشاء الصندوق الاستثماري المشترك بين جهاز الاستثمار العُماني وشركة أذربيجان للاستثمار القابضة التزامنا بتعزيز العلاقات الثنائية من خلال استثمارات مستدامة ورؤى مستقبلية تُسهم في تحقيق قيمة مستدامة تخدم اقتصادَي سلطنة عُمان وجمهورية أذربيجان."

يُذكر أن توقيع هذه الشراكة يأتي امتدادًا لدور جهاز الاستثمار العُماني في تأسيس صناديق استثمارية مشتركة مع نظرائه في دول شقيقة وصديقة، وكذلك مع شركات عالمية مرموقة، ومن ذلك الصندوق العُماني التركي المشترك، إلى جانب شراكات أخرى مع قطر، وبروناي، وأوزبكستان، والهند، وفيتنام، وإسبانيا، وباكستان، والصين.

وتؤكد هذه الشراكات الإستراتيجية التزام جهاز الاستثمار العُماني بتعزيز شبكة استثماراته الدولية واستقطاب الفرص ذات القيمة المضافة، بما يدعم الأجندة الوطنية ويُرسّخ مكانة سلطنة عُمان كمركز إقليمي لجذب الاستثمارات النوعية ومحرك للنمو الاقتصادي المستدام. كما تعكس حرص الجهاز على بناء تحالفات طويلة الأمد مع مؤسسات عالمية مرموقة تُسهم في نقل المعرفة والتقنيات، وتدعم التنويع الاقتصادي من خلال مشروعات مجدية تسهم في تعزيز القيمة المحلية المضافة، وإيجاد فرص العمل، وتوسيع قاعدة الإنتاج في قطاعات واعدة، بما يدعم جهود الجهاز نحو ترسيخ دوره كشريك استثماري إستراتيجي على الصعيدين الإقليمي والدولي، ويُعزز تنافسية الاقتصاد العماني بمختلف قطاعاته.

As part of its ongoing efforts to expand strategic partnerships with friendly and brotherly nations, aimed at reinforcing the Sultanate of Oman’s position as a trusted investment partner and attracting advanced technologies and investments to local sectors, Oman Investment Authority (OIA) has signed a new strategic partnership with Azerbaijan Investment Holding (AIH), the entity responsible for managing and developing state-owned enterprises and investments in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

This milestone agreement was signed on the sidelines of a high-level Azerbaijani delegation visit to the Sultanate of Oman, led by the Minister of Economy, along with senior officials and business leaders.

The partnership entails the establishment of a joint investment fund with a capital of OMR 77 million, equally contributed by both countries. The fund aims to invest in key sectors including food industries, manufacturing, renewable energy, logistics, healthcare, and retail. It also seeks to launch projects with developmental impact in both countries that support income diversification and in-country value (ICV) creation, in line with the objectives of Oman Vision 2040 to build a diversified and sustainable economy.

H.E. Abdulsalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, President of OIA, stated:

"This strategic partnership with the Republic of Azerbaijan reflects OIA’s approach to expanding its global investment network by forming high-impact partnerships that support Oman’s economic diversification goals. “The establishment of the Joint Investment Fund between Oman Investment Authority and Azerbaijan Investment Holding reflects our shared commitment to strengthening bilateral ties through sustainable and forward-looking investments that create long-term value for the economies of the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Azerbaijan.”

This partnership is the tenth of its kind established by OIA with peer institutions and reputable global entities, such as the Oman-Turkey Joint Investment Fund, in addition to other collaborations with Qatar, Brunei, Uzbekistan, India, Vietnam, Spain, Pakistan, and China.

These partnerships reaffirm OIA’s commitment to expanding its international investment footprint and capturing high-value opportunities that align with Oman’s national agenda. They also position Oman as a regional hub for strategic investment and a driver of sustainable economic growth.
